The similarities and differences between sin and cos would be that they share a common amplitude, period and common points on their graphs. But they lack similarities in the sense of where their graphs begin. Cos being that it starts at 1 and Sin starting at 0. Cot asymptotes occur at the exact opposite location as compared to the tangent graph(or where the tangent graph touches the x axis). They repeat every pi unit.
Csc asymptotes occur where the sin graph would of crossed the x axis and they repeat every pi unit.
Sec asymptotes occur where the cos graph would touch the x axis, and repeat every pi unit.
